Atlas Foundation (the Foundation) was incorporated on September 2, 1986 as a Public Company, Limited by Guarantee under section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017 in pursuance of license issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, as a not for profit organization.
The Foundation continues to uphold and advance the Atlas Group’s corporate social responsibility commitments by undertaking a wide range of initiatives aimed at creating sustainable value for society. The Foundation actively invests in programs that promote professional education and skills development, strengthen healthcare services, extend support to law enforcement agencies, and enhance the overall quality of life within communities.
The Board remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring that the Foundation’s long-term vision is aligned with meaningful and sustainable societal progress through immediate interventions and lasting developmental efforts.
Key Initiatives
Education and Skills Development
Establishment of the Atlas Vocational Training Institute (AVTI); development of a dedicated research center at LUMS; creation of endowment funds with prestigious institutions; ongoing operational support to Atlas-TCF Schools; and other organizations providing education for children with special needs and challenging individuals.
Infrastructure for Learning
Construction of hostels and boarding facilities at renowned educational establishments, enabling wider participation for students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
Healthcare Advancement
Refurbishing and upgrading the operation theaters at hospitals to improve medical care standards and building a modern Rehabilitation Centre
Working with partners in education and other sectors, the Foundation helps increase the country's literacy rate and transform unskilled individuals into trained professionals. Additionally, Atlas Foundation is dedicated to supporting organizations that promote patriotic values, community welfare, and initiatives that contribute to Pakistan's progress and prosperity. Major efforts are underway to collaborate with more partner organizations under the ongoing guidance of the CSR Committee and the Board.

Primary Objective
To found, build, aid, assist, set up, manage, maintain, administer and run schools, colleges, training institutes, polytechnic institutes, vocational training institutes, institutions of learning, and universities for advancing education and learning, subject to approval from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and other concerned Government departments, etc., as required, but not to operate itself as a university and not to act as a degree awarding institute.
